This is a time of year when the weather is warm, friends and family can gather outside, and enjoy delicious food and cold drinks.

This is one of my favorite decorations, a simple red white and blue patriotic banner. Cut scrapbook paper or cardstock into triangles and punch holes in the top. Then string them onto a piece of twine.
You can use any colors or patterns you like to make your summer party decor.


DIY Camp Birthday Banner from 3 Little Greenwoods. This sign looks rustic and fits a camping themed party perfectly. You probably already have the supplies on hand to make one of your own.

DIY Tissue Paper Flowers from Frugelegance. I love making these in all different colors. I have used them for parties and even for room deocr, for a while a hung a set of primary color pom poms in my kids playroom.

Beach Wedding Mason Jar Centerpiece from A Bride on a Budget. Fill a simple jar with sand and a candle to add some ambient light to your summer party. Sometimes it’s the simple items that add light and elegance to a party.

Pool Party Decorations from The Naptime Reviewer. Another fun idea for a jar. Just a few little beach balls to add to the summer party decor.

Ice Cream Cone Party Banner from DIY Inspired. I love this simple idea, who would have thought! Take a look at how simple this is to put together.

Paper Medallions from Huckleberry Love are a crafty way to fill a vase in lieu of flowers. Fold patterned paper into these pretty rounds and attach to sticks.

Summer Grilling Party from Hostess with the Mostess. Upgrade basic condiments with these cute stickers. You will have a custom party in no time.
