Do you like saving money? I know, silly question right. I love saving money by doing things myself, I tend to write about my DIY adventures too. Creating something, or learning a skill that I would otherwise outsource, to save a little cash is exhilarating. I’ve rounded up a collection of projects that just about anyone can do {tutorials provided!} that will save you money. Take a look at these 5 Thrifty DIY Projects That Will Save You Money.
Save on Organizing
You know those Pinterest closets and laundry rooms that are so perfect you kind of want to live in them? I love all the beautiful bins and containers, I just cannot stomach spending loads of cash on 10 coordinating bins that will sit hidden behind closet doors. Take a look at this clever solution. Transform a diaper box, or any box, into a cute fabric covered bin. Use old clothes or inexpensive fabric remenents to make this project really cost effective.

Save on Kitchen and Craft Storage and More
Saving jars and containers from everyday items can lead to big savings on kitchen and craft storage. I am a fan of Classico Sauce jars, I save every one. I also like to hang on to old candles, clean the wax out, and use them to store little craft supplies. I tend to use pretty jars as gifts too.

Save on Furniture
A new piece of furniture can perk up any room. Instead of shelling out for something brand new, look for old pieces with good bones. An outdated finish or hardware can be changed. Take a look at this headboard and nightstand that I picked up for just a couple of dollars and gave then new life.

Save on Clothes
Clothes, trendy new clothes for every season for every member of the household, can be expensive. I have found an excellent consignment shop near my town that is always stocked with cute kids clothes in great condition. Seek out the small shops in your town, or the online buy/sell groups, and find gently used items that have lots of life left.
Save on Garden Essentials
I aspire to have a beautiful garden, and have found that keeping a garden weeded watered and fed is a large undertaking and can cost a pretty penny. One of the best ways to fertilize a garden is with compost, and it doesn’t cost a thing!

Great tips! I really love what you do with the Classico jars. We go through a lot of spaghetti sauce and it's great having an alternative to just tossing them.

Great money saving tips! I love that many of them involve up-cycling things that we would normally throw out, like the diaper box or used candle jar.

Wow that box idea is genius! I order from amazon all the time so I have a lot of boxes! I recently made reusable dryer sheets and I think the savings there will be great!
