Halloween is a little more than a month away. My toddler is ready and surprisingly so is my husband. Together they will be Blue and Steve, thanks to Netflix that is her absolute favorite show. Although I like to dress up in some way for Halloween, I’m not feeling an elaborate costume this year.
Last time I was pregnant I was working full-time at a place that held a costume contest. My friend and I were a carton of milk (me) and a cookie. A big box worked great over my baby bump. That was a lot of work and not very practical, especially while I’m home with a 2 year old.
So this year brings a simple DIY Halloween t-shirt.

I bought a black t-shirt and glitter iron on transfer paper.

I cut out and traced on jack-o-lantern onto the back of the glitter paper.

Then just ironed it on.

I find specialty maternity items can be very expensive. This was under $10! Perfect for trick or treating and a couple other costume events I know my daughter will want to attend.
Tell me, what did you do (are you doing) for Halloween while pregnant?
Thanks for visiting!

Did you use a normal t-shirt or was it a maternity style shirt? It looked like from the comments that you just got a normal one from JoAnns, but I wanted to double check. I love this idea!

It's a "normal" maternity shirt. It's regular t-shirt material but fits me! Hope that helps.
