Blog Planner Extras – Free Download

2013 was a year of new experiences for me.  A new blog, an expansion of my Etsy shop, a new home, the list goes on. I like to keep things organized, at least plans thoughts and ideas (my house is another story). That can be difficult with so many balls in the air.  I am going to start the New Year off right by planning my posts, ensuring I promote them appropriately, and managing my time so my days are not entirely consumed by this blog.

In my attempt to do this I will continue to use my basic 5×7 spiral bound monthly planner.  This is great for jotting down notes and scheduling posts (in pencil).  I found one with ample note pages in the back for ideas.

But there are other specific items I want to track and to keep them in focus they need to be in front of me.  I just bought a wall organizer from thirty-one that I keep in my office.  It has lots of pockets for everything that I want to focus on. (still working on filling in all the spaces)

I created 3 documents for the new year that I think will help me stay on track. You can download them too.  Follow the link toward the end of this post.

Blog Planner Extras

Social Media Checklist  Up until now this list has been on a scrap piece of paper and a Google document.  I refer to it now and then to make sure I am networking my posts to the full effect.  To make sure I do this with every post I need to have these notes at my finger tips.  Writing the best post ever will get next to 0 views if I don’t put it out there.  I’ve included the big social medial outlets I use and a list of others that have been beneficial for me.

Goals  I didn’t set concrete goals last spring when I started blogging but now that I’m in the swing of things I have very specific items I want to accomplish this year.  I want to see these goals every day and be reminded of what I am working towards.

Monthly Statistics I have a spreadsheet with these numbers, and of course Google Analytics, but I think if they are on the wall in my face I will be motivated and know where to put my focus for the month.

Please download and use these documents to help you focus and stay on track this year.  For personal use only, if you would like to share these on your blog please provide a link back to this post for download.  Thank you!

Tell me, how do you stay organized and on top of your blog?

Thanks for visiting!
