Easy Burlap Bow Wreath
I started this project with a small wreath form from Dollar Tree. It was already wrapped in burlap from a previous project but the flowers on it were not in good shape, it was time for an update.
I removed the flowers and left the burlap and rope hanger on the back.
I have a collection of pretty paper. If you follow my Instagram stories you know I can’t leave a craft store without paper. It might be a problem but I always find a way to use it. This wreath was inspired by a page from a Christmas paper pad.
- Hot Glue Gun
- I started this project with a wreath that was already wrapped in plain burlap ribbon and had a piece of rope attached to the back.
- From a holiday paper pad like this one cut an image that will fit inside the wrath and hot glue it to the back.
- To make the bow cut 7, 12 inch strips of wired red chevron ribbon. Make a loop with 1 piece, then add the rest until you have a handful of loops. Twist the ends of each loop together as you go along.
- Secure the bottoms of the loops together with wire then fluff the loops into a bow.
- Cut 2, 6 inch strips of burlap ribbon and hot glue them to the sides of the wreath to act as the wrath tails.
- Finally, hot glue the bow to the top center of the wreath.
This simple burlap bow wreath is perfect for my back door. It was so easy to make and that bow, made the easy way, makes the whole thing really stand out.
