A few weeks back I shared my White and Silver Glam Fall Mantle. It encompasses my Fall Wood Blocks along with metallic pumpkins and white and silver accents. I used 3 white candle sticks to hold a pumpkin and metallic jars. I have always wanted a set of pretty wood candle sticks but they are a little pricey. It’s so hard to fork over cash for decor items, especially if there is any inclining that I may be able to make them myself! I’m going to show you just how easy {and inexpensive} it is to put them together.
I started with some wood supplies. I would have loved to get these all in one place but had to do a little more searching.
3 table legs from Home Depot of varying heights.
3 round paper mache ornaments from Michaels.
3 wood beveled circles from Amazon. These were a great deal, they are an add on item but so worth it if you have something else you plan to buy with it Circle Plaque, 4 x 4 (affiliate link)
In addition to these items I used Americana Decor Chalky White paint, glue, and a drill.
To start I painted all my pieces white. The only prep was to remove the string from the ornaments
Once dry I found the center of the wood circles and drilled a hole in each one.
One end of each table leg has a screw in it, so that atached nicely to the wood circle making the base.
For the top I just glued on the paper mache ornaments.
That’s it! All 3 of these for under $20. Pretty candle sticks can get expensive so I consider this a win!
These are so versatile and will no doubt be displayed around my house all year.
Do you have an inexpensive DIY project you are proud of? I’d love to hear about it.
Thanks for visiting!

This is so clever! And they look great…I never would have guessed that you pieced them together yourself! I love the look of those big fat pillars, too, but they are so darn expensive…maybe I’ll have to make a set of my own, too!

Thank you Meredith! So easy to do and you can create your own style, have fun if you make them!

I’ll definitely be making some of those! (That’s exactly what I planned to use for my Halloween feather tree, but I inherited a great candlestick, so I didn’t have to make my own.)
