Candy Cane Shooters

These peppermint shots are dressed up with ice cream, whipped cream, candy canes and peppermint bark. It's dessert in a tiny glass! Serve these Christmas drinks with dessert or in place of it. They are sure to please your crowd.
Candy Cane Shooters
Peppermint shots made with ice cream and topped with peppermint bark, the perfect Christmas dessert drink.
Ingredients
- 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1 ½ oz vodka
- 1 ½ oz peppermint schnapps
- Light corn syrup
- Candy canes
- Whipped Cream
- Peppermint bark
Instructions
- On a small plate crush a handful of candy canes.
- On a second dish pour a small amount of light corn syrup.
- Dip the rim of 6 shot glasses into the corn syrup then the crushed candy canes. Set aside.
- In a blender combine ice cream, vodka, and peppermint schnapps. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the drink into the shot glasses and top with whipped cream and a small piece of peppermint bark.
Notes
Make this a non alcoholic drink by omiting the vodka and peppermint schnapps. Add a few drops of peppermint flavor to the ice cream along with a little milk to create a peppermint milkshake.
