As my kids get bigger Halloween is becoming a much bigger deal in our home. My 4-year-old is having so much fun planning her costume and helping me create fun DIY decorations. She is beside herself over her school Halloween party and trick or treat. I am capitalizing on her excitement and creating some really fun, and not so spooky, candy corn marshmallow pudding cups.
Little Lady loves candy as much as the next kid, but instead of just snacking on a candy bar for a treat, I chose to have some fun with Snack Pack pudding cups and create some adorable Halloween treats. These would look great on a Halloween party table, or make a fun after dinner treat.
Snack Pack pudding cups come in a variety of flavors which make a great base for all kinds of fun mix-ins. This Spring we even made carrot gardens! You can find more mix-in inspiration by visiting Snack Pack on Pinterest and Facebook. I also love that each serving is fortified with as much calcium as an 8 oz glass of milk.

I picked up all of my supplies (except the paper punch, that was a gift) at Meijer. Meijer is new to my area and I am already loving it. Their selection is awesome and the stores are easy and comfortable to shop. I have also met some of the nicest employees. I recently became an mPerks member, a great way to save even more at Meijer. Watch this video and see just how quick and easy these candy corn marshmallow pudding cups are to make.
I started by melting orange and yellow candy melts in microwave safe bowls. I dipped each marshmallow into the orange candy and let it dry on a piece of wax paper.
Once dry I dipped the marshmallows into the yellow candy. I scrapped off the yellow candy from the bottom so they would sit flat.
Once that layer was dry I added eyes with a little melted candy and placed the cooled candy corn marshmallows on top of pudding cups.
For a finishing touch, I wrapped the bottom of the Snack Pack pudding cups in Halloween punched paper.
My girls went wild for these little guys. They loved helping make them too. Once the melted candy cooled a little this was definitely a kid-friendly treat to make.
These would look great on a Halloween party table or, if you are really ambitious, as a Halloween treat for Trick or Treaters.

I love the way you decorated the bottom of the cups. This reminds me that I should use my punches more often. I get the feeling that I would eat too many of those marshmallows!

These are just darling! I love having some non-scary treat options at Halloween and for Fall. Not all kids are into the scary stuff. Thanks for sharing. #client
