I love spending my summer days outdoors. A comfy chair, a cold drink, warm weather, and my kids having a blast running around the yard. It’s kind of perfect. I’ve thought about how I could gift this perfect experience to a friend, and settled on a clever jar gift that will help them kick back and relax. I created a Cheers to Summer Cocktail in a Jar that is perfect for anyone looking to get the most out of summer.
Creating the perfect jar gift is fun and easy. You can put just about anything in a jar, and create a gift for any occasion.

Here is what I used to create this summer cocktail in a jar:
- Pint jar
- Yarn
- Label printed on sticker paper – white printable sticker paper or clear printable sticker paper
- Directions printed for the top of the jar
- Pineapple Juice, small can
- Cocktail umbrella
- Coconut rum, 2oz bottle
- Glue
Take a look at how easy this is to put together.
To make the directions for the top of the jar just type up or write the following, then punch or cut a circle around it.
- Empty jar and fill with ice.
- Add rum and juice.
- Top with umbrella
- Sit back, relax and enjoy!
This cocktail in a jar is a simple gift you can give to a friend to help her relax. Who wouldn’t love an easy fruity drink in a pretty jar?
This jar gift can be adapted for other seasons and made with a variety of ingredients. Try a can of Coke paired with Whiskey. Or a small can of cranberry juice with a bottle of Vodka. There are so many possibilities to personalize this gift.
Are you a fan of jar gifts? Tell me about a favorite you have given or received.
