My kids look forward to the advent season every year and really enjoy all the prep and fun activities we do leading up to Christmas. We kick off the season with an Advent calendar. This year I am sharing a Christmas countdown printable with fun activities for the last 12 days leading up to Christmas. Add scratch off stickers to make this a fun activity for your family.

My kids love finding a piece of candy each day as they countdown to Christmas, but our favorite part is having a special activity for each day on the calendar. I have shared a magnetic calendar as well as an Ikea countdown both filled with daily activities to get your family into the holiday spirit.
This printable advent calendar with envelopes is another fun way to tuck activities into a unique countdown.
These activities are usually free and easy to do any night of the week. Baking cookies, reading a Christmas book, or making a noodle garland. This year I included a blank countdown printable as well so you can add your own activities.

I love advent calendars with activities, but I especially love the idea of scratching them off to reveal what's beneath. I didn't even know you could get something like that. Very clever!
