My main bathroom is a busy place, especially in summer. Kids are off of school, guests are spending long weekends with us, and friends are in and out of the house all day long. My main bathroom was pretty bland with a hippo themed kids shower curtain that even the girls were a little tired of. With a busy season ahead of us, it seemed like the perfect time to update this bathroom. I created a colorful bathroom with items from Target in less than 1 day. Here was my main bathroom before. A cute kiddie shower curtain, towels on low hooks for the kids, and nothing on the walls. It was just kind of blah and unwelcoming. When guests came to spend the weekend there was nothing relaxing or really accomodating about this space.

I went to Target with a style in mind, bold colorful and fun. I am a big fan of pops of color in my home. Guests are greeted with this yellow and blue bench in my main foyer, and my mantle currently has pops of bright pink. I shopped for items that would bring color and function to the room and appeal to adults and well as kids. This is what I came home with.

When planning a bathroom refresh it’s essential to have bathroom necessities too, like Quilted Northern® Mega Rolls. I updated the shower curtain and bath towels to brighten up the room. These pops of color are bold and inviting, and welcome guests of all ages.
