Coloring Page Puzzle with a Silhouette

April 30, 2015 by Sarah Leave a Comment

Are you a puzzle fan?  My Little Lady absolutely loves them and we do them all the time.  I thought it would be fun to find a way to make our own puzzle, using my Silhouette of course.  To make it even more exciting, I let Little Lady design and color her puzzle too!  Take a look at how you can make a Coloring Page Puzzle with a Silhouette.

Here is what I used:

The following are affiliate links, you can view my full disclosure here.

  • Coloring page from Science Kids
  • Silhouette Printable White Sticker Paper
  • Chipboard
  • Puzzle Cut File {Silhouette design #3412}
  • Silhouette
  • Markers

I found a fantastic resource for coloring pages at Science Kids, I downloaded a simple flower for Spring and uploaded it to my Silhouette software.  I printed the design on to white sticker paper then Little Lady and I colored it in.

Back in the Silhouette studio I used the puzzle cut file from the Silhouette design store and lined it up over the flower.  I made sure the only cut lines turned on were on the puzzle.

I peeled off our masterpiece and stuck it to a piece of chipboard.

To cut I used the following settings without a mat to cut the puzzle.  Blade 10, Speed 1, Thickness 33, Double Cut.

I got a nice clean cut and Little Lady was extatic to see her masterpiece turned into a puzzle.

What have you made with your Silhouette lately?

Thanks for visiting!
