What is the Cricut Joy
Back in 2020 Cricut introduced the Joy, a small but powerful smart cutting machine with the ability to cut, score and write on a wide variety of materials. Learn more about how to select the right materials for your machine.
This machines comes in around $179 but is often on sale for much less. I own 3 Cricut cutting machines but I love and use the Joy often. Here are a few reasons why.
Size. The Joy is tiny, I keep it in a tote bag stored on a shelf and can easily set it up in my craft room or on the kitchen counter.
Ease of use. It plugs into the wall then connects to your phone app or computer via Bluetooth. It’s intuitive and super easy to operate.
Capabilities. The Cricut Joy can cut over 50 different materials using a cutting mat or matless using smart materials. You can also make intricate cut cards as well as use pens to write.
Card making is one of my favorite things to do with this machine. This simple Cricut Joy card and gift are easy and fun to make.
