After Christmas I cleared off my porch and let the snow take over. My porch is bare and gray and in desperate need of some color. Even though the snow is still here, and probably going to stick around for a while, I’m ready to start decorating for Spring. This simple Dollar Store spring wreath cost just $4 and came together in a matter of minutes.
Front Porch Decor
Your front door isn’t just for wreaths! Try one of these options to add some character.
- Wood door hanger painted and embellished with floral stems and a burlap bow. This piece works on a front door year round! Check out the video below and see how easy this is to make.

- Floral monogram. This large letter is colorful and makes a bold statement on a front door. Get your letter here and fill it with flowers in whatever color scheme matches your home decor.

If you are looking for a gorgeous wreath, try this craft from Dollar Tree and add some color to your porch.
Here’s how to make a Dollar Store Spring wreath
Supplies – Shop Dollar Tree online and get your supplies right now.

- Wreath form
- Teal burlap ribbon
- 2 bunches of pastel flowers
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Wire cutter
- Wood round and paint (I already had these in my craft room)
Start by wrapping the ribbon around a wreath form and secure the ends with hot glue. Next, snip off a few flower stems using a wire cutter. I used about half the flowers from each stem, you really get a lot for $1!

These stems slip easily into the folds of the burlap ribbon. Once they are arranged use a little hot glue to secure them especially if you plan to hang this on an exterior door.

I liked how the flowers looked alone on the wreath, but I chose to add a little sign to dress it up a bit more. I had a wood round leftover from a Christmas project that I painted black and wrote Hello Spring on it. These rounds, and other shapes, are available in packs at Dollar Tree too.

This simple Dollar Store Spring wreath adds just a little color to my front door and helps me see past all the snow and cold. I can only hope Spring weather is just around the corner.

So cute, Sarah! The tulips can't help but brighten up your porch and remind you that Spring will eventually make it's way here.. but not soon enough for me, either!
