Dr. Seuss Inspired Gift Card Holders

Create Dr. Seuss themed gift card holders.

One of my all time favorite books is Oh the Places You Will Go! by Dr. Seuss.  I loved it as a child, but as I get older and read it with my children I find myself choking up with each inspiring page.  The words remind me of the ups and downs in my own life and foreshadow what my little ones will face in their own.

It’s a book filled with hope and is such a fantastic message for young people.  With graduation season upon us I thought it would be fitting to put together some simple Dr. Seuss inspired gift card holders. These cute little gift card holders have an inspiring message and can be filled with cash or a gift card for the grad’s next step in life.

Dr. Seuss Inspired Gift Card Holders. Great for graduation gift.

This video shows you how to create these simple Dr. Seuss inspired gift card holders.  Add an inspiring message to the front and fill it with something the grad will love.

Supplies

Other than card stock and glue, I used my trusty paper cutter with a scorer.  This tool gives perfectly straight lines that make paper projects like this easy to fold.

If you have a grad in your family or a party to attend, think about adding an inspiring Dr. Seuss gift card holder to your gift.  Fill it with a gift card to a special place or cash for the grad to help with their next adventure.

Are there downloads for the wording?

Thanks for visiting Sheila, sorry I do not have downloads for these. I just typed them up in a word processing software, you could even use an online design site like picmonkey so make them. Hope that helps.
