A Simple Easter Pie and Coffee Bar

Easter is a very special time for my family. We celebrate with extended family and take advantage of the warm Spring weather for the first time in months. We always have a delicious meal followed by an egg hunt for the kids with lots of treats. I don’t want to leave the adults out of the fun, so I choose to serve coffee and dessert for the grown ups to enjoy while the kids run wild.

This year I set up a simple Easter pie and coffee bar featuring a delicious Marie Callender’s® Coconut Cream Pie. This pie is decadent and always a crowd pleaser. It takes a lot of love and care to make comfort foods right. No other frozen pies deliver homemade quality and taste like Marie. I love that I can set up a pretty Easter bar ahead of time, and just add pie and coffee after the meal. It means I get to enjoy more time with those I love, instead of being cooped up in the kitchen.

Marie Callender’s® pies are conveniently located in the freezer aisle of your local Walmart. I popped mine in the refrigerator to thaw the day before our party and it was ready to go when I needed it. These pies are affordable and convenient, a must have for your Easter celebration.

My Easter pie and coffee bar features the essentials for a good cup of coffee in a covered thermal cup. This means we can head outside to watch the kids hunt for eggs and take our coffee with us.

I used colorful jars, green grass and fresh flowers to brighten up the bar, along with speckled Easter eggs. Many of these items I already had at home. Avoid a complicated dessert bar and use pretty items from around your home to display. A cake stand, a few mason jars, crisp white plates and some Spring touches are all it takes to set a beautiful Easter pie and coffee bar.
