Dressing up for St. Patrick’s Day is a fun and easy way to celebrate. Whether you are dressing up for school, work or a fun night out with friends you can use these wearable crafts to enjoy the day.
Here in the US we all feel a little Irish on St. Patrick’s day. We wear green, eat fun colorful foods and celebrate with friends. I remember back to elementary school where you had to wear green to avoid the risk of being pinched! It was a fun tradition and some adults still enjoy it today.
Learn how you can easily make a Cricut St. Patrick’s Day shirt using the Cricut Joy and Smart iron on. This easy craft will ensure you won’t be pinched!
I have made a few St. Patrick’s Day shirts before, like this layered vinyl shirt and one made with fabric markers. Every year I’m inspired to create something new and fun for this holiday.
Cricut St. Patrick’s Day Shirt
Start with the following materials
- Cotton t-shirt
- Glitter Iron On
- Solid color Smart Iron On
You will also need these items:
- Cricut Joy
- EasyPress 2
- EasyPress mat
- Weeding tool
Using the Design Space app on your phone or tablet, cut out a shamrock from green glitter iron on and the letters L V and E from a solid color iron on. You can create this yourself or use this design through Cricut Access.

Cut and weed the designs then arrange them on the cotton t-shirt. I chose to iron the glitter shamrock first, followed by the letters. Watch the video to see just how easy this process is!

St. Patrick’s Day Headband
Want to take your green outfit up a notch? How about an over the top festive headband. It may look complicated but with these simple supplies, and your Cricut, you can assemble this in no time.
Here are the supplies you will need to make a headband like this:
- Glitter cardstock
- Glitter shamrock and hat embellishments
- White feathers
- Hot glue

- Cricut Joy
Start by cutting one of these cute bows from glitter cardstock. Assemble the pieces using hot glue, you can see the step by step process in the video.

Now it’s time to get creative and assemble the headband. Using hot glue, add the bow, embellishments and feathers to the headband. Add as much or as little as you like, go ahead and be extra festive!
