Mama knows best, right? I didn’t really realize that when I was little but looking back, yeah Mama definitely did know best. She had great advice, encouraging words, and lots of love at all times. As a Mother myself I think {all the time} that Mama knows best and if my little ones would just trust me we could avoid a lot of chaos. But alas, we all must learn in our own time. So as a Mother I am there for my kids with encouraging words, advice, and lots of love to carry them through happy and tough times. I channeled these encouraging words for Mom and put them in a jar to help me refocus on a rough day. This is a fun and easy craft that I encourage you to make for yourself, or a Mom in your life.

Mother Knows Best t-shirt from Cents of Style
Last week my kids were on Spring break, we had a ton of fun and spent countless hours just hanging out as a family. During this time I wrote down a few encouraging words to lift my spirits on a rough day. Yesterday, I literally bottled up those encouraging words and made a jar just for me to reach into when I need a pick me up.
I used a cute jar I’ve had around for ages, a scrap tag I found in my craft room and a printed note that reads “Mama said there will be days like this”. I have had that song in my head lately so it just felt right to add to this jar. I used Mod Podge to add the tag and note to the front of the jar.
Then I typed up a few of those encouraging words for Mom, cut them into strips and placed them in the jar.
- This too shall pass
- Coffee is good for the soul
- You are a wonderful Mom
Just a few encouraging words for Mom that we all need to be reminded of sometimes.
Treat yourself, your Mama, and your kids with these fun shirts from Cents of Style.
