I decorated my Christmas mantle with natural evergreen and metallics this year. A bit of a change from years past, but then again every year seems to take on a new theme. I’ve done bright bold and modern as well as rustic and neutral. This year I wanted a natural feel with a bit of metallic sparkle. This evergreen Christmas mantle is simple and beautiful and I’m excited to share it with you today. It’s day 7 of the 12 days of Christmas series featuring some beautiful Christmas decor all linked at the bottom of this post.

I love a little sparkle in my Christmas decor. Even in my tiered tray, which was fairly simple and natural, I had to add some gold and silver. My mantle is no exception, I love metallic accessories year round. For Christmas I pulled out wood silver and gold candles and holders to surround my silver mirror. These pieces I knew had to be on my Christmas mantle. From there I added this Noel wood wreath sign, an absolute favorite new piece this year. Then 2 copper lanterns I picked up on fall clearance at Michael’s. They are very similar to these lanterns and can work year round. I added a few candles and tried to call it complete but something was missing.
On a trip to Michael’s I spotted this soft lightly flocked evergreen garland and fell in love. It was just the piece I was missing on my Christmas mantle. I laid it across the front and hung a boxwood wreath over the mirror, evergreen Christmas mantle complete!
