As Halloween approaches, there is no shortage of spooky scary party ideas, food, and decorations. I have 2 little girls who love dressing up and can’t wait for Halloween. I want to have a little celebration with a not so spooky theme. Take a look at the perfect Halloween party for little ones.
This not so spooky Halloween party is complete with simple snacks, drinks, and inexpensive DIY decorations.
I decorated my table with tissue paper pom poms using dollar store tissue paper. I added some stretchy spider web to the wall behind the table, decorated with a purple spider web tablecloth. On the table I used some simple decorations I already had. These spider candles were so fun to make, they are a Pottery Barn knock for a fraction of the price. I also used a silver painted faux pumpkin on the table.
The party snacks are simple; grapes, string cheese, marshmallow pops and grape juice. A little sweet mixed with good for you snacks just right for little hands.
I used a black ball point pen to draw ghost faces on individually wrapped string cheese. How cute are these? And so simple to make.
Little Lady helped me make these marshmallow pops, she even picked out the sprinkles. We put large marshmallows on sticks and dipped them into melted white chocolate. While it was still wet we dipped them into black and purple sprinkles.
This not so spooky Halloween party, perfect for little ones, will be a hit on the 31st. Delicious food, just enough spider decor, and lots of purple. (Little Lady had a lot to do with our color scheme.)
A few years back I put together a collection of great ideas for a Toddler Halloween party. These treats and games are a hit with the little ones too.
How do you celebrate Halloween with little ones?
