A handmade gift is something that every parent loves, especially when it comes from a beaming child. When my girls present me with their craft projects on Mother’s Day their smiles are always a mile wide.
Whether it’s a simple card, elaborate book or piece of art, I enjoy receiving handmade gifts from my kids. And I know other parents and Grandparents do too. These are the gifts we hang on the wall and save in keepsake boxes for years.
Some of my favorite gifts are those that feature a little handprint. A simple painted hand on a piece of paper with a heartfelt message (usually written by a teacher) just melts my heart.
These handprint gifts remind us of how little our kids are, and are such a joy to look back on as they grow up.
Grandparents love receiving personalized gifts from their grandchildren all year round. And of course, how fun is it for kids to paint their hands and get messy while creating a piece of art!
The project ideas below are made using little hands and feet and can be gifted to Mom, Dad, Grandparents or other loved ones.
