Heat Embossing Tutorial & Video

I've got news today folks, Creative Ramblings is now on YouTube!  Hooray!  I am so excited to start sharing crafty tutorials with you.

Back before Pinterest (do you remember that, it feels so long ago) YouTube was my first resource for craft tutorials.  I am a visual leaner and love taking notes or sometimes working along with a video to perfect a technique.

Today I usually hit Pinterest first and if I'm lucky will find a post with great step by step photos detailing how to do a particular craft.  However, I still find myself on YouTube most of the time learning with a video.

My plan to is give you a weekly tutorial on craft techniques that can be building blocks for much bigger and more complex projects.  I will be adding videos to some of my popular posts in which you have commented with questions on how, specifically, to get something just right.

I invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel to keep up with my weekly tutorials.  Creative Ramblings YouTube Channel

Heat Embossing Video Tutorial

My first tutorial is on Heat Embossing.  If you are a stamper or paper crafter this is for you.  When I started my Etsy shop I wanted my cards to really stand out.  I knew what heat embossing was, I saw the various powders on the store shelves, but I had no idea where to start.  It took a while to find a detailed tutorial.  After I figured out that technique I was able to take my paper creations to a new level.

You can find some of the products I use in this video here.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Sarah,
Sometimes you need to see some one take the leap before you do. Thanks for the great video to help me leap. I will share when I embark on my embossing adventure
