The holidays are coming!
You’re stressing out just thinking about it, which makes you want to open a bottle of wine and have a girl’s night instead of planning decorating or crafting right?
I have your solution; throw a fabulously easy holiday craft party for your girls with wine and simple food! It’s easy, I promise, and your friends will have an amazing time while being productive making holiday crafts.
Getting friends together over good food and wine is fun any time of the year, but around the holidays you have an excuse to be a little more fancy and creative. Everyone wants to create those holiday crafts they see online, so why not put together a simple holiday craft party where you can relax, craft and enjoy good food and company.
Here’s how to throw a fabulous holiday craft party
Choose an easy theme using colors and decorations you already have on hand. Consider a chalkboard and kraft paper theme using black and tan paper as you base for decorations and crafts, then add in pops of red on you tables and in your food.
Paint a couple of wine bottles with chalkboard spray paint and write on them with chalk for a fun and reusable decoration on your party table.
Poll your friends and choose crafts that people are excited about making. Keep in mind the complexity of each project and be sure to have supplies on hand. Pick up a box of plain glass ornaments and provide paint, embellishments, glue and glitter and let your guests create their own masterpiece.
Use kraft paper as place mats that can take a crafty mess and toss them when finished.
Print a welcome card for guests on printable glitter paper; share your party plan, craft ideas or menu.
Spend your time enjoying your guests, not stressing over complex dishes. Choose simple food, a mix of premade finger food and one or two dishes you can easily prepare ahead of time.
Boxes of Pepperidge Farm Cookies and crackers always dress up a buffet table, and they taste divine. These are perfect to keep on hand for whenever guests may pop in.
Make one main dish like this easy one pot Caprese Pasta Salad using Barilla Prono Pasta. Barilla Pronto Pasta eliminates the need to pre-boil or drain, you will have a delicious dish in no time. Use this recipe or simply pair this pasta with a Barilla sauce for a delicious and easy dish.
