Last weekend we threw Little Lady’s 3rd birthday party. It was a bunny themed blast! In addition to snacks, dinner, dessert and standard drinks I wanted to add something a little different this year. In the past I’ve done a hot chocolate bar which was always amazing. The only issue with that is the growing amount of small children that now accompany all family gatherings. Just the thought of a kid trying to make their own cocoa scares me so I scratched that and went with an Italian Soda Bar this year.

I’ve had these before but have never made my own at home. I was inspired by Making the World Cuter and her adorable set up for parties.

To make the drinks I used:
- Sparkling water
- Flavorings (I used mixes made for martini’s but they taste great here too, you could also use syrups intended for coffee)
- Half and half
- Whipped Cream
- Cups
- Straws
- Cute sign with instructions
My mom and I had the rough task of taste testing all the combinations the night before. We loved the basic flavoring with sparkling water but the cream soda was even better.
To make a drink add 1-2 shots of flavor to a cup and fill with sparkling water. We had big cups, so 2 shots was perfect. Definitely taste test first.
To make a cream soda add a shot of half & half and top with whipped cream.
These went over so well at the party, everyone got to make their own concoction. I will be doing this again.
Are you an Italian soda fan? What’s your favorite blend?
Thanks for visiting!
