Being a Mom of two is a far cry from the mom of one I was just a few months ago.  Little Lady (3) no longer has unlimited one-on-one time with Mom.  As much as she loves her little sister, and loves helping, I know she misses our time together.  If naps fall just right we are able to carve out an hour or 2 each day just for us.  No entertaining a baby, no dishes or laundry to do; just us.

This time has become so valuable I want to fill it with something we will both enjoy and remember.  Sometimes we just talk and play but I also need a constructive option.  Little Lady loves to craft, in fact she has a bunny business set up in my craft room. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen her busy little corner.  I came across Kiwi Crate and I was sold immediately.  Kiwi Crate is an award-winning, monthly subscription service that provides all the hands-on materials to inspire creative, educational fun. With themes like Music, Color, Robots, and Safari, these crates deliver everything needed for unique activities that you and your kids can enjoy together. see sample crates ››

Little Lady loves getting mail.  I signed up for the monthly subscription and decided not to tell her about it.  Our crate should arrive any day and I can’t wait to see the look on her face when I tell her the package on the porch is for her!

Not only do they offer monthly creative crates, you can visit their DIY Ideas page to check out the latest and greatest on easy projects you can do right at home, right now!

Recently featured in InStyle, Parenting Magazine, and US Weekly, Kiwi Crate has also been awarded Dr. Toy 100 Best Children’s Products of 2012, Parent’s Choice Gold Award, and an Oppenheim Gold Seal Best Toy Award. Kiwi Crate is already a celebrity favorite, and is sure to delight the little ones in your life!

Kiwi Crate offers a range of subscription levels, all shipped for free:

Monthly Subscription – $19.95 a month

3 Month Gift – $60

6 Month Gift – $110

12 Month gift – $205

I am looking forward to a monthly crate that Little Lady and I can work with together.  This would also make a great gift, I have some nieces that would really get into this (mommy too!).

I am sure we wil dive into our crate right away and when we do look for another post with our creations and honest feedback.  In the meantime, get yours now!
