Mason Jar Organization for your Craft Room
I save almost every jar that comes into my home, from sauce jars to pretty bottles, I keep them on a shelf in my basement. That way whenever I need a jar for a project or organizing just about anything I have a stash to choose from.
I knew I needed to do something about my baker’s twine stash. It was in a bin and whenever I needed to use it I had to first untangle it. So I grabbed a few jars and collars from my stash for this project.
This is seriously a simple hack. Just pop the baker’s twine into a jar, choose one that fits the roll. I have a couple different sized jars for my go to twine colors.
Next, cut a circle to fit the top of the jar and punch a hole in it. Then use a craft knife to cut a small slit from the hole. This way the twine can come through the hole and stick in the slit so it doesn’t fall back into the jar.
Put the end of the twine through the hole and place the circle and collar on the jar. Push the end of the twine into the slit and it will stay put until you are ready to use it!
This mason jar organization for my craft room looks great and it’s so handy. I keep a few of these jars on my pegboard shelf so I can grab what I need for my current project.
