Glitter eggs

Hard boil white eggs and let cool completely.

Place super fine glitter (I used metallic) in a shallow dish.

Using a paintbrush, brush a thin layer of Elmer’s glue onto the egg.

Roll the eggs in the glitter to cover completely

** Note – I did one side at a time with the glue/glitter steps.

Put 1-cup boiling water and 2 TBSP white vinegar in each cup.

Starting with cup 1, put one drop of food coloring into the cup. In cup 2, put two drops of food coloring into the cup. In cup 3, put three drops of food coloring into the cup. Continue adding the drops in the subsequent cups.

Carefully place one egg in each cup and allow to steep for at least 5 minutes.

Place in an empty egg carton to dry.
