This past weekend I shared a simple outdoor Christmas planter as part of the Deck the Home blog hop. There were so many inspiring outdoor Christmas decorations from other bloggers I thought I would bring you 6 of my favorites today. Take a look at these Christmas decorations and how these bloggers used them to dress up their front porch for the season.
My outdoor Christmas decorations are mostly lights, they are easy and hold up well in the snow. I always have a wreath on my front door and a few weather resistant pieces around my porch. This year I added this pretty planter with a lantern. It adds a bit of sparkle and greenery to my porch in a season that can get very cold and gray.
Another easy way to update your front porch for Christmas is with a doormat. I have a year round stenciled doormat, but need to switch it up for something more festive like this one.
A few lights outside always look lovely, why not add them to a wooden tree on your front porch.
I’ve seen the lighted wood decorations at stores, and in yards around my neighborhood. They are beautiful at night and make a big impact when decorating, but they can be really expensive. I am inspired by this amazing reindeer and sleigh that was made for $20!
A statement piece like this wood sign is a great way to add a festive look to your front porch, and you can learn how to paint one too! She walks you through all the steps, I really think I could paint one after reading this post.
I love the wall hanging on this front porch, it really ties together the rest of the porch and gives it a rustic festive feeling.
I hope these outdoor Christmas decorations inspire you to decorate your front porch this Christmas.
Thanks for visiting!
