Paper Bag Turkey Fun Thanksgiving Kids Craft
Little Lady and I are crafting buddies. She is a 3 year old budding crafter and blogger. She loves to help with every project and post I create, you'll see photos of her here and there "helping". We have the most fun working on kid friendly projects where she can get her hands dirty....safely.
Last year I shared Halloween and Thanksgiving crafts the 2 of us did together. She loved, I mean loved, that I blogged about her creations. You can see those 2 posts by clicking on the photos below.
This year we created a simple {mini} Paper Bag Turkey.
I picked up these little paper bags in the Dollar Spot at Target earlier this year. They were 50% off, how could I pass them up?
Other supplies I used:
Cardstock, patterned and solid
2 Buttons
Glue
I cut out feathers in varying sizes and Little Lady and I glued them to a small strip of card stock. It was easier for her this way, when she was done I glued the whole strip to the back of the paper bag.
We added eyes, feet, a beak, and some chevron yellow to the body.
These make for cute hand puppets, or a little fall decoration.

That's so cute, Sarah! I miss those days with my kids, but I'm pretty sure I have a very similar turkey in the Thanksgiving Rubbermaid container. I love getting out all of the things they've made over the years - such treasures! So be sure to put a date on it somewhere!
