Summer is coming and my kids are beyond excited for vacation. I thought I would put together a little pineapple gift box with a few of my daughter’s favorite things in anticipation of what is sure to be a fun summer break.
This gift box took just a few minutes to put together and I filled it with simple items from my secret craft stash. I like to keep a few fun craft items on hand for my kids when they are in need of something new and different to play with. Nothing extravagant, just little items that I know they will appreciate. My girls are craftaholics much like their Mom so I know a little washi tape and some pretty embellishments go a long way.
I started by downloading this Pineapple cut file from the Silhouette store. I sized it to fit my paper then cut the yellow and green parts separately.
I enjoy designing my own items with my Silhouette software, but sometimes a project like this is so much easier with a premade design. It only took a few minutes to cut and assemble.
I filled this pineapple gift box with bubbles, pens and washi tape. My Little Lady could create a masterpiece with these items and have some fun with the bubbles afterwards.
These pineapple gift boxes would make cute summer party favors, or even end of the year teacher gifts.
