Easter is just around the corner. Get ready for the big day with this printable Easter basket template and tips on what to put in the baskets.

Easter is a beautiful holiday, Spring is all around us flowers are blooming and warmer weather has arrived. In my family we use this day to spend quality time together, enjoying delicious food and good company, while having some Easter fun. An egg hunt is a necessity for the kids, they end up with lots of treats and pretty baskets to take home. This year I am thinking of the adults, my friends and family, who deserve a little Easter treat too.

Setting up an Easter egg hunt for the kids is fairly straight forward. I like to set out baskets for kids to grab then let them loose in the yard to search for hidden eggs. This year I will be setting up a table with mini paper baskets for adults in addition to the items we have for the kids. You can print a template for these simple baskets below and create your own pretty Easter creations.
Printable Easter Baskets
Supplies
- Easter basket template
- Patterned scrapbook paper
- Printer
- Scissors
- Brads
- Easter grass or crinkle cut paper
- Candy and treats to fill the basket
I headed to Walmart to gather the supplies for these baskets. They have an assortment of pretty paper as well as delicious candy I know my friends and family will enjoy. Walmart is your one stop shop for Easter this year.
I purchased the following candy for these baskets
- DOVE® Milk Chocolate Bunny
- DOVE® Peanut Butter Egg, these are NEW and amazing
- SNICKERS® Bunny Cane
- Skittles® Bunny Cane
- Starburst® Funsize Cane
- Hubba Bubba®

I printed this template onto the back side of an 8.5 x 11 piece of scrapbook paper.

Then I cut along the solid lines and folded the paper on the dotted lines.

I gathered the 3 sides and lined up the dots, then added the long strip of paper again lining up the dots. I used a brad to hold each side together.

Once the mini printable Easter baskets were assembled I filled them with a bit of crinkle cut paper and an assortment of candy.

These DOVE® Peanut Butter Eggs are amazing, this is something I know my friends will love. I am excited to set these baskets up in a pretty display on Easter and let my adult friends know that these are just for grown ups.
Now is the time to stock up on all your Easter essentials at Walmart. I hope you use this template to create pretty baskets for your Easter gathering. Find more inspiration here and tell me, what will you add to your baskets this year?
