It’s Day 8 and we are sharing Christmas In A Jar Ideas!

A good mason jar gift starts with a jar, of course, and a theme. This is a snowman mason jar gift and I like that it works for anyone this time of year and into the winter months. You can personalize this with a tag and add a few more embellishments for Christmas or New Year’s.

Supplies:

Pint jar with lid painted black
Red felt
Scissors
Buttons
Hot glue
White chocolate pretzels or white candy

Cut a strip of red felt into a scarf long enough to wrap around the mouth of the jar. This scarf is about 12 inches long.

Using hot glue, add the buttons to the front of the jar and wrap the scarf around the mouth just under the lid. Leave enough room that you and the recipient can open the jar. Then fill it with white chocolate pretzels, white mints, marshmallows or whatever white treat you like!
