For years my go to drink was vodka cranberry, easy to make or order. Nothing fancy, just 2 simple ingredients. I do like to step it up at home and make a sparkling vodka cranberry sometimes, but typically I go with the classic. As I got older I graduated to a mule, and ordered it wherever I went. Then this past winter I took a liking to bourbon. Bourbon has a rich history and such a unique flavor, I enjoy it on the rocks often. But this sparkling bourbon lemonade has to be my favorite way to enjoy it.

To make this simple and subtly sweet cocktail, just mix sparkling lemonade with bourbon. It really is that easy. I picked up a bottle of sparkling lemonade from Aldi last week, not too sweet with the perfect amount of lemon, it was a nice addition to this cocktail. For a little extra flavor, drop in a few slices of fresh peach and top the cocktail with a sprig of mint. The sweetness of the peach blends perfectly with the lemon, and the mint is a refreshing finish.
