Zoo Animal Masks

Baby Girl is 1, it happened last week but it hasn’t fully sunk in yet.  This weekend we are officially celebrating with a big party.  I chose a zoo animal theme, it kind of fits with her wild side.  To help entertain the older kids in attendance I put together some foam zoo animal masks.  I know these will be a hit with the kids, and make for some cute pictures.

If I had more time I would probably have created my own templates for these zoo animal masks, however I found myself putting this entire party together in about a weeks time.  Funny how different the first birthday party can be for a first and second child.  I think I started planning Little Lady’s first birthday 4 months ahead of time :)

I found an elephant mask template from Ziggity Zoom.  She has such cute kids crafts.  In addition to the template I used:

  • Craft foam
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Marker
  • Elastic

I layered gray pink and white foam to create this cute little elephant.  I threaded a piece of elastic through holes in the sides to secure the mask.

I also put together a lion using yellow and brown foam.

I made a dozen of these for the kids attending Baby Girl’s party, I think they will have some fun with these.

What has been your favorite kid’s party theme?

Thanks for visiting!
